The Orioles will try to rebound after a close game last night that resulted in yet another loss.

Royals right-hander Brad Keller has faced the Orioles once in his young career, and he performed quite admirably. He threw eight innings of two-run ball, walking two and striking out four. The young 24-year-old takes the mound in the second game of the series tonight at Camden Yards, and his ERA on the road this year is almost a run higher than it is in his home ballpark, 4.45 vs. 3.60. On the whole, Keller has pitched better in the second half this year, with a 3.23 ERA and 1.12 WHIP. In the first half, those numbers were 4.47 and 1.45, respectively.

The underwhelming Dylan Bundy gets the ball tonight for the Orioles. In his last four starts, he’s 0-2 with a 5.73 ERA. Since the All-Star break, Bundy has pitched to a 7.14 ERA to go along with a 1.48 WHIP. He’s fared worse pitching at home this season (5.61 ERA) than on the road (4.88 ERA).

Chance Sisco returns to the lineup tonight after his injury scare a couple days ago. Meanwhile, Chris Davis starts this game on the bench. Also, Rio Ruiz gets the start at third with DJ Stewart back in right.
