After an absolutely brutal series against the Yankees, a dugout dustup, and losing 76 of 114 games, the Orioles will take on Mike Elias’s former employer. Baltimore will play the first of three against the Astros tonight at Camden Yards.

Chris Davis is not in the Orioles lineup after a verbal altercation with manager Brandon Hyde on Wednesday. Trey Mancini will play first base and Renato Núñez will serve as the designated hitter.

Pedro Severino will catch Bundy, and Hanser Alberto will play third base. Anthony Santander, Stevie Wilkerson and Jace Peterson will handle the outfield duties, while Jonathan Villar and Richie Martin play up the middle.

Dylan Bundy will take the hill against former Oriole Wade Miley. Miley’s 10-4 record and 3.05 ERA are a far cry from his time in Baltimore. The Louisiana native led the league in walks during the 2017 season, issuing 93 free passes. He holds a 112/45 strikeout/walk ratio so far this season.

Bundy hasn’t exactly followed Miley’s lead. He sits at 5-11 with a 5.15 ERA, but he has won two of his last three decisions. Bundy took the loss against Houston back on June 9, despite only allowing two earned runs in six innings. Hopefully, a start like that will get it done tonight.

For the Orioles:

  1. Hanser Alberto 3B

  4. Renato Núñez DH
  5. Jonathan Villar 2B
  6. Pedro Severino C
