It is Friday evening.

The Orioles, after a wait of several days resulting from the game being suspended due to a catastrophic failure of the Nationals grounds crew during a heavy rain storm, have triumphed over the Nats, 6-2. Paul Fry pitched on both days of the suspended game and three Orioles, including third catcher Bryan Holaday, drove in two runs apiece. O’s pitchers held Nats batters to just six hits in the game.
