It is very early on Saturday morning.

The Orioles, out west, have just beaten the Oakland Athletics, 3-2. John Means pitched brilliantly, giving up two runs over seven innings while striking out nine batters. He now sits with a 1.70 ERA after making six starts. For offense, the Orioles got back-to-back home runs from outfield pals Cedric Mullins and Austin Hays, and the team ended up with enough offense to hold on for the win.
