Saturday afternoon Orioles game thread: vs. Cleveland, 4:05

Can the Orioles make it four in a row?

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays at Baltimore Orioles Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Happy John Means Day, y’all!

John Means remains awesome, but his last three starts haven’t been quite as good as we had gotten accustomed to. After following his no-hitter with six shutout innings against the Mets, Means has pitched to a 4.42 ERA over his past three starts, totaling 18.1. That has raised his ERA from 1.21 to 2.05.

2.05 is still really good! So I’m not complaining. But I’d love to see a strong seven shutout innings. I hope that’s not too much to ask. That Orioles will probably need it with Aaron Civale on the mound for the opposition.
