It is Friday night.

The Orioles have beaten their southern neighbors, the Washington Nationals, by a 6-1 score to send the 51st state’s team to six games under .500 with less than a week to go until the trade deadline. The O’s bullpen pitched 4.1 scoreless innings to close out the game. The offense piled on six runs on six hits, in part thanks to Pat Valaika hitting two home runs in the game.
