The first is soft-tossing lefty Jamie Moyer (53), whose 25-year career included three seasons with the Orioles from 1993-1995. The second is the late Steve Bechler, who died tragically during spring training 2003 from an ephedra-aided heat stroke. He was only 23 years old.

On this day in 1954, the Orioles and Yankees completed a 17-player trade that brought, among other, Gus Triandos to the team. And ten years later in 1964, Brooks Robinson was named the A.L. Most Valuable Player.
