Lots of people are previewing the Orioles season. They don't have high hopes. Do you?

Good morning, Camden Chatters! We now sit just five days from Opening Day. It's almost here! Just as I did when we were 33 days from Opening Day, I'm going to suggest that if you don't know who number five is you should should brush up on your history.

The current forecast for Opening Day on Monday is sunny with no chance of rain, high of 55. I wouldn't hate to see that temp go up some, but at least it should be dry.

If you haven't heard the latest news out of Spring Training, it's all about Hyun Soo Kim and Joey Rickard. Mark Brown covered it yesterday with stories on the possiblity of Kim accepting a minor league assignment and the emergence of Rickard as the probable starting left fielder.

Now, onto links from around the blogO'sphere:

Even The Orioles Have A Shot In The AL East | FiveThirtyEight
This is a nice read with Emma Span and Dan Szymborski on the A.L. East. Everyone is expressing doubts about the O's chances, but it's nothing that I don't think every day so I don't feel slighted.

Chris Jones had been DFA'd a few days ago, but at least they were able to get some minor league filler for him.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! I'm sorry to say that you have zero Orioles birthday buddies. You do share your special day with Vincent van Gogh and MC Hammer, so that's something.
